New Delhi:The Income Tax department attached all the assets of controversial businessman Moin Akhtar Qureshi, an accused in a black money case, media sources said on Friday.
The assets of Qureshi has been attached owing to his failure come up with a satisfactory answer on the source of money he has generated.
Spelling fresh trouble for Qureshi, the I-T department has attached his farm house, cars, land and also a few bank lockers.
It may be recalled that Qureshi had told the tax officials earlier that he has only one locker with HSBC Bank's South Extension branch but later during investigation, the department found that he was having 11 lockers which were in the names of his employees and associates but the articles belonged to the businessman.
