Mumbai: The Committee for Members in Industry (CMII) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will hold 'ICAI CMII Corporate Conclave' and 'ICAI Awards 2014' in on January 31 and February 1 in Mumbai.
The conclave is conceived to initiate and facilitate deliberations by eminent experts on subjects and relevant to the profession. The theme of the conclave is 'transformation towards excellence'.
ICAI Awards 2014 to be held on Sunday (1st February) will honour the exemplary work of the Chartered Accountants (CAs) in the industry including in public services and other fields of profession by recognising those who have demonstrated excellence in their professional lives, outstanding contributions so that they would be identified as role models for the fraternity.
The ICAI Awards 2014, also seek to acknowledge Cas who have created values for their company’s stakeholders on a sustainable basis.
Dr. Subhash Chandra, Chairman, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd will be the Chief Guest of the event. Many Industrialists and dignitaries will also be present at the event as the Guests of Honour.
Many dignitaries and business leaders will bestow the prestigious ICAI Awards.
The awardees are chosen from amongst the nominations received by CMII of ICAI under three major categories: CA Business Leader, CA CFO and CA Professional Achiever.
Overwhelming response received in terms of number of nominations this year has made the event very competitive and certainly the award winners will become source of inspiration for the fraternity and more particularly the ever increasing demand for chartered accountants and the versatile skill set of the chartered accountants have been attracting thousands of to the CA course which also continues to be most affordable post graduation high profile profession.
The event will display ever increasing contributions of Chartered Accountants to the industry and to the nation, said Tarun Ghia, central council member, ICAI.
