Bengaluru: Global software major Infosys Ltd on Friday declared an interim dividend of a whopping 220 percent or Rs 11 per share of Rs 5 face value for the first six months (April-September) of this fiscal (2016-17).
"The board of directors declared an interim dividend of Rs 11 per share. The record date for the interim dividend is October 24 and the payment will be made on October 26," said the IT major in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges.
In contrast, the company paid Rs 10 per share (200 percent) interim dividend for the same period of last fiscal (2015-16).
