New Delhi: Reacting to the shocking incident where woman was alleged raped inside the Infosys campus, the company said that it is investigating the matter.

“We are investigating the matter and are working closely with the police to aid their investigation,” Infosys Pune said.

“We have stringent security measures and have a zero tolerance policy against sexual harassment extending to contractual staff too,” the company further added.

Infosys also added that it will take necessary action as per policy.

The woman alleged that she was raped in a lavatory on December 27 by a housekeeping staff member in the Infosys phase 1 campus. The other person, meanwhile, recorded the act on his mobile phone.

The accused had threatened the victim not to inform others about the incident or else they would make the clips public.
