Mukesh Ambani pays Rs 1.6 crore registration fees for his new Rs 8 cr BMW

Mumabi: India's biggest industrialist, Mukesh Ambani has paid Rs 1.6 crore as registration fees for his new 7 series BMW car.

The 7 series customised variant German BMW, is a sheer bullet-proof car, making it worth 8 crore and so its registration. It is the the most costly registration till now.

Earlier this week, Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries, registered the 7 series BMW with the Mumbai's RTO. As per rules the vehicle registration fee is 20%, thus amounting to Rs 1.6 Crore.

The import price is around 300 percent of the vehicle cost, whose base price is around Rs 2 crore.
