PFC's net profit rises 11% to Rs 1,561 crore in Q4

State-run Power Finance Corp Thursday reported 11 percent rise in its standalone net profit at Rs 1,560.76 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2015.

New Delhi: State-run Power Finance Corp Thursday reported 11 percent rise in its standalone net profit at Rs 1,560.76 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2015.

The company's standalone net profit during corresponding quarter of 2013-14 was Rs 1,411.41 crore, it said in a BSE filing.

Total income during the quarter increased to Rs 6,421.49 crore, as against Rs 5,578.61 crore a year ago.

For the entire fiscal 2014-15, the company's standalone profit stood at Rs 5,959.33 crore as compared to Rs 5,417.75 crore in 2013-14.

Total full year income also rose to Rs 24,906.80 crore, from Rs 21,337.60 crore a year ago, it said.

The board of directors of the company has recommended a dividend of Rs 0.60 per share, in addition to an interim dividend of Rs 8.50 per share as on March 31, 2015, it said.

"... Thereby making total dividend of Rs 9.10 per share (face value of Rs 10 each) for the financial year 2014-15," the company said.

PFC shares today closed 0.78 percent higher at Rs 279.50 per unit on the BSE.
