New Delhi: Sahara chief Subrata Roy on Friday asked for 10 more days from the apex court to sell off three of his overseas properties. The latest development comes at a time when the Sahara chief is trying hard to sell off his overseas properties in order to secure his bail.

Earlier the Supreme Court had asked Sahara Group companies- SIRECL and SHICL to pay up Rs.10000 crore as a bail amount for securing Subrata Roy's release.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that Subrata Roy has informed the apex court that he urgently needs a 10 days extension to secure the sale of three of his hotels in New York and London.

He also told the court that if he is not given an extension, the deal may be scrapped altogether as there has already been stiff opposition to the deal after a report was published on it.
