New Delhi: The Supreme Court has ordered Samsung chairman Lee Kun-hee to appear before a trial court in Ghaziabad in a criminal case.

The apex court has also directed that arrest warrant against Lee Kun-hee will not be executed for six weeks.

The Allahabad High Court High Court had earlier declined to quash the case and termed the Samsung Chairman an absconder and fugitive.

In 2012, the Ghaziabad court had issued a non-bailable warrant against Mr Kun-hee after which they approached the Allahabad High Court for relief.
