New Delhi: The country's second largest IT firm Infosys has roped in two more SAP executives Ritika Suri and Abdul Razak, taking the total ex-SAP count to five, ever since Vishal Sikka joined the company as the CEO in August this year.
Suri and Razak, holding the senior vice president post, will be based out of the Palo Alto area in California, the same place as Sikka is stationed in.
Early this month former SAP executive Michael Reh joined Infosys to head its core banking solution business Finacle.
Ex-SAP employees Sanjay Rajagopalan and Navin Budhiraja have also recently joined as SVP Infosys.
Infosys, has for the first time picked an outsider as CEO, as it seeks to boost sales of high-margin services like cloud computing and stem a staff exodus.
Sikka, 47, is considered to be an innovator in the global software industry. A computer scientist by training, he was key in developing and marketing SAP`s flagship product, HANA, which helps firms analyse large amounts of data quickly.
He is seen bringing into Infosys his expertise in newer technology areas, like cloud computing which allows clients to ditch bulky and costly servers for network-based software and storage in remote data centres.
