Videocon Industries posts Rs 10.46 cr profit in January-March

New Delhi: Videocon Industries today reported a standalone net profit of Rs 10.46 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.

The company's net sales during the quarter under review increased marginally to Rs 3,079.27 crore as against Rs 3,073.47 crore in the same quarter last year.

Its revenue from consumer electronics and home appliances segment increased by 2.15 percent to Rs 2,851.30 crore and revenue from crude oil and natural gas segment declined 19.46 percent to Rs 234.41 crore.

Revenue from power vertical increased by 1.83 percent to Rs 4.43 crore.

Meanwhile, in a separate filing to BSE, Videocon Industries informed that its board has recommended a dividend of Rs 2 per equity share to non-promoter shareholders.
