The online registration for 18,252 non-technical vacancies in Indian Railways has concluded.
As per the early notification, common computer based test examination is likely to be held in March - May, 2016.
The available posts are: Commercial Apprentice, Traffic Apprentice, Enquiry cum Reservation Clerk, Goods Guard, Junior Accountant cum Amanuensis (Typist), Senior Clerk cum typist, Assistant Station Master, Transport Assistant and Senior Time Keeper.
Number of vacancies for different posts: Commercial Apprentice (703 jobs), Traffic Apprentice (1645 jobs), Enquiry cum Reservation Clerk (127 jobs), Goods Guard (7591 jobs), Junior Accountant cum Amanuensis (Typist) (1205 jobs), Senior Clerk cum typist (869 jobs), Assistant Station Master (5942 jobs), Transport Assistant (166 jobs) and Senior Time Keeper (04 jobs).
