New Delhi: As 10 central trade unions go on a one-day nationwide strike Wednesday, September 2, to protest against changes in labour laws, many services across the country, such as transport, banks, will come to a standstill.
These ten unions claim a combined membership of 15 crore workers in public as well as private sector enterprises including banks and insurance companies, which also means that the Bharat Bandh is likely to be very effective.
We give you a list of services that are likely to be affected by the September 2 Bharat Bandh.

- Supply of power, oil and gas (Likely)
- Private schools and colleges
- Shops and markets
However, hospitals and medical shops, government offices are likely to be open.
