GDP growth figure of India would reach double digits in the next three to four years, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said on Tuesday.

Kolkata: GDP growth figure of India would reach double digits in the next three to four years, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said on Tuesday.

"In three to four years, the GDP growth rate will be in double digits," Rajnath Singh said, addressing a press conference in Kolkata on the Narendra Modi-led government completing one year in office.

Singh said they have given the country corruption-free governance in the year.

"When the NDA government came to power in May 2014, the economy was totally derailed. The change is now visible both at the micro and macro levels in the economy," he said.

"Confidence has been generated (among entrepreneurs) that investments can be made in the Indian economy," the home minister added.
