New Delhi: BJP president Amit Shah on Saturday said that the country has witnessed positive politics after a long time.
Addressing dignitaries and prominent industry during the fifth edition of India’s Best Market Analyst Awards today at The Lalit in Mumbai, Shah said that the BJP government led by PM Narendra Modi is serious and committed about bringing back black money.
He appreciated Zee Business, part of Zee Media Corporation Ltd - India’s largest news network, for running a Hindi language business Chanel.
"PM Modi has dispersed hope in the country. Before the year 2014 there was a lot of disappointment among the countrymen which has changed within six months ever since the new government has taken charge," he said.
"Good decisions have been taken by the government which has infused hope and confidence among the people," he added.
Talking about the PM Jan Dhan Yojna, Shah said that more than 8 crore accounts have been opened within just 4 months of announcement. He said that the promptness towards making PM's announcement successful is the key to good governance.
Shah further said that skill development and Make in India is very important to 35 percent youth of the country which will generate employment, manufacturing and economic growth.
Talking about telecom, coal and mine sector he said these were entangled in legal and administrative hassle by last government. If these three sectors get freedom to work they can contribute 5 percent to the whole economy.
Shah said that he is optimistic of a double digit GDP growth along with improvement in quality of life of every countrymen. He appealed the industry and market leader to understand that 100 percent inclusive growth will chart out the best economic model.
"BJP will take take India ahead, improve the system so as to check the menace of black money," he said.
He said that by April 2016 we can hope for successful GST implementation .
