New Delhi: The consumer price inflation (CPI) eased to 8.28 percent in May as compared with 8.59 percent in the previous month, helped by slightly cooling food prices, according to the data released by Central Statistics Office on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the IIP data was also released on Thursday. Industrial production rebounded more than expected in April to grow 3.4 percent over year-ago levels.
