A day after budget, oil marketing companies (OMCs) have slashed the price of non-subsidised domestic LPG cylinder by Rs 61.50.

New Delhi: A day after budget, oil marketing companies (OMCs) have slashed the price of non-subsidised domestic LPG cylinder by Rs 61.50.

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) announced that a 14.2 kg LPG cooking cylinder will now be available at Rs 513.50 against Rs 575 earlier from March 1 in New Delhi. The price of subsidised cylinder has been cut by 9 paise.

 

It was on 1st February earlier this year that prices of non-subsidised LPG cooking cylinder were cut by Rs 118.

While petrol rates were slashed by Rs 3.02 per litre on Monday, diesel prices were hiked by Rs 1.47. The diesel rates have been hiked for the second time this month.

 

Since Monday midnight the petrol rates were reduced to Rs 56.61 per litre from Rs 59.63. The diesel rates were increased to Rs 46.43 from Rs 44.96.

It is the seventh cut in petrol rates this year. The petrol rates were reduced by 32 paise on February 18 earlier this year.
