New Delhi: Federal Bank has reported a 15 percent rise in its standalone net profit at Rs 264.69 crore for the third quarter ended December 2014.
The bank's net profit stood at Rs 230.13 crore in the corresponding October-December quarter of the previous fiscal.
"Total income has increased from Rs 1,895.92 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2013 to Rs 2,090.01 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2014," it said in a filing to the BSE.
Bank's net non-performing assets (NPAs) rose to 0.69 percent, from 0.86 percent in the similar quarter a year ago.
While, the gross NPAs were trimmed to 2.19 percent of the total advances, from 2.83 percent in the year ago period.
Shares of the bank Thursday closed 2.2 percent lower at Rs 144.80 per piece on the BSE.
