New Delhi: The government will delete the provisions of Public Debt Management Agency (PDMA) from the Finance Bill 2015, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said on Thursday.

Jaitley added that the government is in consultation with RBI to prepare a detailed road-map for setting up a separate debt management agency.

Jaitley had proposed to set up a debt agency when he unveiled the annual budget in February, but they had become a source of friction between the RBI and the finance ministry.
