New Delhi: Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday said that the ordinances on Insurance and coal sector shows government's determination.
Addressing a press conference in the national capital, the Finance Minister said that insurance ordinance is in line with select committee recommendation.
Emphasising on the need to inject more liquidity into the market, he said, "India can no longer wait to open up insurance sector."
Underlining the administration`s resolve to push through economic measures despite political opposition in parliament the cabinet today approved an executive order to implement coal and insurance reforms.
The cabinet also renewed another order opening up the coal industry to the private sector after a bill on the issue similarly failed to make headway in parliament.
