Capital market regulator Sebi has embarked on a special recruitment drive for hiring 46 officers from weaker section of the society, as part of its plan to beef up its headcount for faster and more effective execution of its work.
The candidates can apply for the positions between August 22 and September 7.

Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:
The candidates applying for this post should possess a Masters Degree in Economics/ Commerce/ MBA/ Post Graduate Degree in Management/ Post Graduate Diploma in Management with 55 percent marks (50 percent for SC/ST) in the aggregate, CA/CFA/CS/ICWA.
Or
Bachelors Degree in Law from a recognised university/institute with minimum 55 percent marks (50 percent for SC/ST) in the aggregate or LLM OR Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 60 percent marks in the aggregate (55 percent for ST).
Or
Masters Degree in Hindi with 55 percent in the aggregate with English as one of the subjects at Bachelors Degree level or Masters Degree in Sanskrit /English /Economics/Commerce with 55 percent in the aggregate with Hindi as a subject at Bachelors Degree level (50 percent for SC).
Or
Masters degree in Statistics/ Economics/ Commerce/ MBA (Finance)/ Econometrics with minimum 55 percent marks for officers(50 percent for ST).
Age limit:
The age of the applicants must not exceed 30 years. Relaxation in age would be provided as per the government norms.
Selection procedure
An online examination and an interview would be conducted to shortlist the candidates.
Pay scale
The selected candidate would be drawing a monthly salary of Rs 17,100 to Rs 33,200.
