London: Europe's main stock markets fell at the start of trading on Tuesday, with London`s benchmark FTSE 100 index dipping 0.05 percent to 6,888.12 points.
Frankfurt`s DAX 30 index dropped 0.26 percent to 12,054.20 points and the CAC 40 in Paris slipped 0.19 percent to 5,073.99 compared with Monday`s close.
