China stocks crashed for the second day on Tuesday prompting the central bank of the world's second largest economy to cut the reserve requirement ratio and key interest rates to halt the slide that has devastated markets in India and other countries.

The rate cut by the People's Bank of China (PBOC) added fuel to the European and US stock markets despite another sharp drop in Chinese markets.
