New York: Yahoo said on Tuesday profit in the past quarter fell 19 percent from a year ago to $270 million, in results weaker than expected.
Chief executive Marissa Mayer said the results show "that we need to work faster to ameliorate the negative trends," and added that "I remain confident in Yahoo`s future."
