Adobe has launched major updates to their flagship Creative Cloud tools and services including several new features to Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, Premiere Pro CC and InDesign CC. The company has also announced new connected mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Some of the key feature upgrades across the Creative Cloud portfolio include the introduction of Artboards in Photoshop CC that extend the design process to mobile platforms, a new Dehaze feature in Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC, the addition of the Lumetri Color panel for more powerful color correction in Premiere Pro CC, with several other updates across the Creative Cloud board. See here for a more in-depth look at the new features.

An altogether new application--Adobe Stock--was announced: a content service that is integrated into the Creative Cloud toolset. Stemming from Adobe’s acquisition of Fotolia earlier in the year, this is a stock image service comprising 40 million photos, vector graphics and illustrations that can be directly accessed from within Creative Cloud apps.

For enterprise applications, Adobe also announced offerings that include enterprise-grade administration, security, collaboration and publishing services, especially relevant to organizations that are driven by the design process.

The plentiful announcements continue: on the Android front, Adobe released Brush CC, Shape CC, Color CC and Photoshop Mix while updating several of their popular Creative Cloud apps for iPhone and iPad such as Adobe Comp CC, Photoshop Mix, Photoshop Sketch, Illustrator Draw, Brush CC, Shape CC and Color CC. Synchronizing the design process across all of these services is Adobe CreativeSync, also updated to enable more seamless workflow between the Creative Cloud desktop and mobile apps, with the ability to handoff work between various platforms over the course of the design process.

Finally the new Adobe Hue CC is an application that enables video, film and broadcast professionals to capture and share production-quality lighting and color schemes using their iPhone camera, then applying these into a Premiere Pro CC or After Effects CC project.

These updates are currently available to existing Creative Cloud members at no additional cost.
