Imagine being fired from your job but getting paid and ending up the winner!
That could be the case with Yahoo CEO Marrisa Mayer if the company decides to fire her; she will end up a winner with as much as $157 million as her paycheck.
According to reports, Yahoo's future and the role of Mayer are being discussed and should the CEO be fired, she has a severance package of about $150 million, making her the winner anyway.
As per a report in USD Today, if Yahoo fires her without any cause but due to change of control of the company, Mayer's severage package would stand at $157.9 million as in 2014.
Other reports suggest that should Marrisa Mayer be fired by the board, she's entitled to a $25.8 million severance package, based on the company's current stock price.
Yahoo's shares have tumbled about 30 percent this year till the closing time on Friday.
Since joining Yahoo in July 2012, Mayer has been one of the highest paid CEOs of the world receiving as much as $36.6 million for her six months of work in 2012.
