New Delhi: Technology giant Google Inc has launched its flight search tool in India, this tool will help search flight details within the search engine including price, timings and even book tickets.
Makemytrip.com, Cleartrip.com, Yatra.com, ezeego1.co.in and Goibibo.com are among the top online travel agencies in India.
Online agents usually charge a transaction fee from customers. The Google service will redirect users to the concerned airline’s booking page, which will enable consumers to avoid the commission paid to the travel agent.
Goibibo has joined hands with ‘Google Flight Search’, the name of the tool. The partnership will allow Goibibo to show results from their own website.
There is also a feature to book tickets from GoIbibo wherein users will be intimated that the booking will be done through an agent, which will be an additional cost.
