Washington: Microsoft has released the final version of its Office apps to Windows 10 testers.
According to the Verge, there are not many changes in the apps over the five-month preview, but they are more refined along with the Windows 10 operating system they run on.
While they will run on desktop PCs, Microsoft has named them mobile apps as they are primarily designed as touch-friendly applications for tablets and phones running Windows 10.
The apps are lightweight, speedy and easy to use. Microsoft has included OneDrive into the experience, so the users can edit documents from the cloud and start again where they left off.
Microsoft's Office for Windows 10 apps include Word Mobile, Excel Mobile, PowerPoint Mobile and OneNote.
Microsoft Windows 10 will see regular updates to the operating system and its associated apps.
