Now, forget about inflating tyres with Bridgestone's air-free tyres

Washington: Japanese tyre giants Bridgestone has come up with its second-generation prototype of 'Air- free tyres' which do not need to be inflated ever.

These tyres replaces conventional tyres' cushion of air with an array of shock-absorbing bands that resemble thick, angled spokes. The outside of the airless tyre is coated with a replaceable tread made of a thin band of solid rubber, The Verge reported.

With these tyres, there is no such thing as ' flat-tyre', and the best part about them is that they are fully recyclable.

Leader of Bridgestone's technical department for France and Benelux, Olivier Monbet said that every part of this tyre is recyclable, which will improve recyclability compared to conventional tyres.
