New Delhi: Sandisk on Wednesday launched the 512GB Extreme Pro SDXC UHS-I memory card, the "world's highest capacity SD card" in India for Rs 51,990.
The card has the ability to write data at 90 MB per second and is aimed at those shooting high resolution 4k videos.
The card was released on September 11 but was officially launched in the market on Wednesday with an aim to attract photo professinals.
Interestingly, the launch of the 512GB SD card comes a decade after Sandisk first launch its 512MB card.
Besides the 512GB card, Sandisk also launched a 64 GB micro SD card which is priced at Rs 9,700. To be generally used in mobile phones, this card can also write data at 90 MP per second.
The new 512GB Extreme Pro card is said t be waterproof, shock-proof and X-ray proof.
