New Delhi: Ravindra Jadeja produced a virtuoso performance on the penultimate day of the third India-Australia Test match being played in Ranchi.

The all-rounder first struck a quick-fire fifty to help India score 603 runs, which helped hosts bag a lead of 152 runs over Australia's first innings total of 451.

Watch his now-famous warrior dance, aka sword dance after reaching the fifty:

Then, skipper Virat Kohli employed spin at both ends to chock the Aussies on a crumbling Ranchi top. Jadeja shared the new ball with Ravichandran Ashwin, only to overshadow his more famous spinner by taking two wickets in a spell of 3.2 overs.

Aussies needed to negotiate eight overs on Day 4, but at Stumps, they were reduced to 23/2 after 7.2 overs' play with the umpires stopping the play after the fall of night-watchman Nathan Lyon.

In his previous over, Jadeja got the right amount of purchase from the pitch, and managed to turn the ball enough to breach Warner's defence. And the offstump was gone.

Here's the video:

Earlier in the day, a brilliant Cheteshwar Pujara resumed from where he left yesterday to post a timeless double hundred. He, along with Wriddhiman Saha – who posted his third century, produced a 199-run stand to demoralise Aussie spirit.

Yea, it happened before Jadeja arrived.
