New Delhi: Former chairman of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Lalit Modi, has today leaked the employment offer letter of Rising Pune Supergiant star MS Dhoni with India Cements, owned by N Srinivasan, the ex-president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Sharing the employment letter on Instagram, Lalit Modi questioned the motive behind such employment considering the fact that Dhoni earns approximately Rs.100 crore in a year.

“‪It seems only in #india#contempt after contempt continues by the #old #guards of @bcci - How ? My best guess is #northblock. But most #puzzling is this #employment #contract of #MSD - WHY ? he earns 100’s of crores a year will he #agree to be #SRINI’S #employee. bet there are many such contracts,” he wrote on the Instagram post.

The former India captain was appointed as the vice-president – marketing with India Cements in 2012, with his basic pay being Rs 43,000 per month. As per the shared letter, he also took home a fixed dearness allowance of Rs.21,970 per month, special pay of Rs 20,000 on a monthly basis and special allowance of Rs 60,000 per month.
