New Delhi: Ahead of their crucial match against Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore got a major boost as skipper Virat Kohli was declared fit by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Kohli, who missed out on the first three matches due to a shoulder injury he sustained during the recently concluded Test series against Australia, is finally available for selection.

RCB have badly missed their skipper this season, as under the captaincy of interim skipper Shane Watson, the team has lost two out of three matches.

Kohli also recently posted a video of him training in the gym with a message that read - "Can't wait to get back onto the field. Almost there now. 14th April."

He was seen doing a weightlifting clean and jerk drill. The effortlessly that he was seen lifting weights is an indicator that he is slowly and surely regaining full strength in his shoulders.

RCB will take on Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians in a high-voltage match and it looks like he is now all set to be back in the team.

Kohli injured his shoulder while fielding during the third Test against Australia at Ranchi. He subsequently missed the fourth Test in Dharamsala.

Meanwhile, injury-hit RCB have made a poor start to the tournament where they have won just one out of the three matches they have played so far.
