MUMBAI INDIANS

Over 15.3 | Score 199/2 | Rana 62 (35) ; H Pandya 15 (4)

Nitish at strike now as Mohit marches on to his third over. Dot ball to start off with. A quick two to follow with a drive down cover. And then six to follow downtown to finish this game in style.

Over 15 | Score 191/2 | Rana 54 (31) ; H Pandya 15 (4)

Ishant Sharma up for his last over now as Rana strikes a six off the top edge of the bat inches over long-on. And with that fifty up for him and the ORANGE CAP is back on his head. Fourth delivery and Hardik destroyed Ishant's outside off delivery into the crowd over long-on . And it follows by a four. This game has turned a real easy chase for Mumbai. Four to end the over by Hardik.  Eight runs more to score now for Mumbai Indians as they head to another strategic time-out.

Over 14 | Score 170/2 | Rana 47 (28) ; H Pandya 1 (1)

Mohit Sharma returns to attack to end Buttler's brillianace with the bat. Outside off delivery, slower one as Buttler laps it high into the air, but not too far as Maxwell stands right in position to take it effortlessly.

JC Buttler c Maxwell b MM Sharma 77 (37b)

And it is Hardik Pandya at crease now, not the skipper Rohit Sharma. Just two runs and one big wicket off the four deliveries bowled. Two more off the last two deliveries.

Over 13 | Score 166/1 | Rana 45 (23) ; Buttler 77 (36)

A massive massive total of 199 put forth to MI and the way they have led the innings so far, it seems more like a cake walk. They started off with their rampage right from ball one and is still as Buttler smacks to back-to-back sixes to Sandeep Sharma and required run rate drops to four.

Over 12 | Score 150/1 | Rana 44 (22) ; Buttler 63 (32)

Swapnil into the attack yet again only to be dispatched for six on two consecutive occasion. First one slogged over midwicket and then the other over long-on.

Over 11 | Score 134/1 | Rana 29 (17) ; Buttler 62 (31)

76 off 60 deliveries needed as Kings now need something really big to shift momentum onto their side. But MI wont stop, MI cant stop. Nitish Rana powers the outside off delivery from Ishant Sharma into the crowd for a six.

Over 10 | Score 123/1 | Rana 20 (13) ; Buttler 60 (29)

Swapnil Singh into the attack as MI is already looking mighty strong in this run chase. Run rate is still over 12. Four singles off the first four deliveries. Six off the over.

Over 9 | Score 117/1 | Rana 17 (10) ; Buttler 57 (26)

Axar returns for his second over. Single off the first ball down mid-on and Buttler gets his IPL fifty. And then off the second delivery, Rana fires a fierce six over long-on. And then Buttler strikes a six a delivery later. He dragged the arm ball high, high into the top-tier. Thats surely the best the crowd has seen tonight.

Over 8 | Score 101/1 | Rana 10 (7) ; Buttler 49 (23)

The wicket-taker returns to attack, but only to be sent high into the second tier near fine leg. Shorter delivery and Rana pulls hook to dismiss it into the crowd. Six! Three singles to follow then. Fifth delivery, Jos muscles the fuller length delivery to long-off for a boundary and 100 up for Mumbai.

Over 7 | Score 87/1 | Rana 2 (4) ; Buttler 43 (20)

And it is Axar Patel into the attack now. Maxwell expects him to slow their innings down. Gives away two into the first half of the over. Just five off the over.

Over 6 | Score 82/1 | Rana 1 (1) ; Buttler 40 (17)

To correct things up, Maxwell shifts to his countrymen, Marcus Stoinis. But there is no stopping for this wicket-keeper batsman as Parthiv smashes two back-to-back fours. Current run rate is soaring above 14 now and Maxwell needs to calm down and think and bring out a plan to stop the openers.

And finally party is over for Parthiv as he is dismissed of a slower outside off delivery as he is caught in the deep by captain Maxwell.

PA Patel c Maxwell b Stoinis 37 (18b)

Over 5 | Score 68/0 | Parthiv 26 (14) ; Buttler 39 (16)

What a way to start of a chase to that massive total! Absolutely firing! Mohit Sharma into the attack now and punished in the very first ball. Quicker bouncer as Parthiv hovers the paced delivery over the keeper for a boundary. Third delivery and it is Buttler finding the gap this time down cover for a boundary. And once again, boundary comes up down square-leg off Buttler's bat. Maxwell needs to change things quick to stop their upsurge. Fourth boundary comes up in the last ball.

Over 3 | Score 34/0 | Parthiv 9 (8) ; Buttler 22 (10)

Buttler looks in mood! Sandeep Sharma gone for a brilliant four by the Englishman. Wriddhiman Saha, meanwhile, saved a certain leg-bye four after making a diving effort behind the stumps. Buttler, then scored another six off the last ball of the over, just like he did in the first over of the innings.

Over 2 | Score 21/0 | Parthiv 7 (5) ; Buttler 11 (6)

Parthiv also opens his boundary account with a four. Ishant Sharma the second bowler chosen by KXIP in this run chase. Buttler then smashed another 4 to Ishant through the covers. Positive start for the visitors.

Over 1 | Score 10/0 | Parthiv 2 (2) ; Buttler 7 (4)

Jost Buttler takes of Mumbai to a flying start! Smashes a brilliant SIX on the last delivery of the over from Sandeep Sharma. Parthiv Patel would also be hoping to get off to a similar start as Mumbai begin their chase of the gigantic total.

Parthiv Patela nd Jos Buttler are out on the pitch and they would need to fire from the word GO to chase this humongous total.

MI need 199 runs to win off 120 deliveries

KINGS XI PUNJAB

Over 20 | Score 198/4 | Amla 104 (60) ; Axar 4 (5)

Last six balls to go as Malinga comes up into the attack. Starts off with a wide. Aim ios definitely a 200 for the Punjab and Mumbai has to stop that. First ball, shorter, straight and Amla pulls it hard. Top edge and arcs high over the keeper to get a six. And yet again. Six, and 100 up for the South African international. It is his first T20 hundred. 16 off the five deliveries bowled till now. Single off the leg side pressing yorker as Punjab cease to 198.

Over 19 | Score 180/4 | Amla 90 (56) ; Axar 1 (3)

Bumrah in for his fourth and final over now. Starts off with another off his bouncer now, to Axar. He indeed is showing variations in his bowling. Second ball and it is NO. Another FREE HIT as Amla at strike now- Bumrah cleverly goes for a quicker bouncer as Amla fails to get a touch. Wasted opportunity for Punjab. But Amla doesnt stop, gets a boundary off the next delivery, down backward square-leg.

Over 18 | Score 166/4 | Amla 83 (52) ; Axar 0 (0)

18 more deliveries to go. Where will their innings end? McCleneghan back into the attack now to strike off yet another Punjab batsman. Stoinis goes for the big one, but not far to travel as Pollard there in the deep to take it comfortably.

MP Stoinis c Pollard b McClenaghan 1 (3b)

Axar Patel is the new man in. Run rate has definitely dropped by a mark or two after the two-back-to-back blows. All on Amla now to lead to defendable total. Last ball, slices the quicker bouncer seaming to the off for a boundary down third man.

Over 17 | Score 165/3 | Amla 79 (47) ; Stoinis 1 (2)

Rohit Sharma now shifts to Jasprit Bumrah with the believe that he can bring the situation under control. And he does, two off the first two deliveries and then sends Maxwell packing. He was looking to strike it again as the slower leg-cutter seeped in through his bat and pad to rip apart the middle and leg stump. Thats the end of Maxwell's cameo.

J Maxwell b Bumrah 40 (18b)

Another Aussie at strike now- Marcus Stoinis.

Over 16 | Score 161/2 | Amla 77 (45) ; Maxwell 40 (16)

What an over that was! 28 off it and suddenly things are looking in favour off the home team. Mumbai surely will be making use of this strategic time-out.

MI bring in Malinga to curb Punjab's upsurge at Indore. And it is Amla now to take things into control. Second ball, and Amla sends it high, well high, into the sky and out off the field. Kings continue with their rampage as Amla slides the outside off fuller delivery over point for a six. Four off the last delivery. Complete madness in this over, in thjis partnership as Punjab seems to take things to 200. 17 off five balls with the last one as dot. Malinga lost it again as Amla finshes the over with a four. Leg side ball, full toss and he flicks off his wrist over square-leg for a boundary.

Over 15 | Score 139/2 | Amla 57 (39) ; Maxwell 39 (15)

McCleneghan back into the attack now for his third over now. Around the wicket to Maxwell as the batsman ramps the fuller delivery way high over long-on. Six! And then again. Off-cutter, fuller and Maxwell smashes it into the crowd downtown for a six again. Indore on fire! Maxwell cant stop. Mitch changing it now, going for a shorter one to the off as the Aussie cracks a pull down midwicket for a four. Its 16 off three deliveries. Pandemonium in Indore as four comes up again of a low full toss as he sliced it over backward point. NO BALL. FREE HIT to Maxwell and six it it. 26 off four deliveries. Last ball, dot. Strategic time-out.

Over 14 | Score 111/2 | Amla 57 (39) ; Maxwell 12 (9)

Jasprit Bumrah into the attack now. His second over it is. And what was that! Shorter, pressing well wide off leg as Maxwell anticipating it, but not too much, as he falls down. Perplexed at that awkward delivery. Fourth one, shorter again to the off and Maxwell pulls it. Ball off the top edge arcs over the keeper for a boundary. He continues yet again, cutting a boundary this time down point.

Over 13 | Score 100/2 | Amla 56 (38) ; Maxwell 2 (4)

Krunal Pandya returns for his fourth and final over. And Amla dominance continues with a boundary off the first over. Short, off and he cuts it off his wrist down point to get that four.

Over 12 | Score 91/2 | Amla 50 (34) ; Maxwell 1 (2)

It is Glenn Maxwell making his way to the pitch now as Maling gets geared up for the over. First ball, fuller to the off and Amla stretches his bat to cut it had down backward point to get a boundary. Good way to start the over, especially after that wicket. And Amla continues. Fourth ball, fuller again and he punched it elegantly over Umpire's head. No foot-work at all. Splendid indeed. And a fifty comes up for the South African batsman.

Over 11 | Score 80/2 | Amla 40 (30) ;

It is quite evident that the duo has lost the momentum that Marsh-Amla opening stand had provided. Time is now that they start hitting, especially Amla, who looks well settled there. Off the second delivery, Amla ramps the fuller delivery from Krunal over long-on to get a maximum. Last ball and Saha departs. Well flat, turning to leg as Saha aimlessly swings his bat, while ball travels under to click off the bails.

WP Saha b KH Pandya 11 (15b)

Over 10 | Score 69/1 | Amla 32 (27) ; Saha 9 (12)

Surprisingly Bumrah comes up now for his first over. Amazing how Mumbai has held him up in the middle overs. Three runs off the three deliveries. Three more off the last three balls.

Over 9 | Score 63/1 | Amla 29 (25) ; Saha 6 (8)

Krunal Pandya back into the attack now for his second over now. Five off the over just.

Over 8 | Score 58/1 | Amla 27 (20) ; Saha 4 (6)

And it is Harbhajan Singh in for his second over. He replaces McClenaghan. Five runs off the five deliveries bowled and the last one too goes for a single. Strategic time-out

Over 7 | Score 52/1 | Amla 23 (18) ; Saha 2 (3)

Little change in bowling, Krunal Pandya has been introduced into the attack now. Wrddhiman Saha is the new man at crease. Four off the first four deliveries bowled with a single to follow from Amla as he strikes it down to mid-on. Six off the over.

Over 6 | Score 46/1 | Amla 19 (14) ; Saha 0 (1)

And now comes the last over of power-play. Skipper Rohit Sharma gives it to McClenaghan. Three off the first three deliveries- two from first, single in the next, dot to follow. Fourth delivery, flatter seaming along off and Marsh cracks it down midwicket off the middle off the bat and gets a four. And then its time for McClenaghan to strike back. Fifth one, near his toe and he flicks it over midwicket. But too short an attempt as the fall flies straight to Pollard in short midwicket. Big, big wicket for Mumbai.

SE Marsh c Pollard b McClenaghan 26 (21b)

Over 5 | Score 39/0 | Amla 16 (12) ; Marsh 22 (18)

And finally it is their star bowler Lasith Malinga into the attack now. Second ball, slightly flatter along middle stump and Amla ramps it over long-on and dismissed it into the crowd. Six, that was! Seven, just scored in five deliveries with three dot balls. Last delivery, dot.

Over 4 | Score 32/0 | Amla 9 (9) ; Marsh 22 (15)

All of a sudden it is Harbhajan Singh who comes into the attack now. Remember, he is just one wicket short off his 200 T20 wickets. After two dot balls, Bhajji places the third well wide off off stump and Marsh cuts it along square down point for a four. Six off the over.

Over 3 | Score 26/0 | Amla 8 (8) ; Marsh 17 (10)

And it is Hardik back for his second over now. Second ball, seamed it the leg side and Amla looking for a leg glance swings his bat, but off the pad to Parthiv, leg-bye. Third ball, to Marsh, shorter one and Marsh with an upper cut over gully to get a boundary. And it follows by yet another. Shorter again, to the off side and he cuts it hard down point off his back-foot to get the four.

Over 2 | Score 15/0 | Amla 8 (6) ; Marsh 7 (6)

And it is McClenaghan into the second over now. Fourth delivery, seams to the off the off stump and Amla laps it over backward square-leg to get a boundary. Fielder Nitish Rana missed to take the catch being inches wide off it. Six runs off the five deliveries so far and the last ball goes for a single.

Over 1 | Score 8/0 | Amla 3 (2) ; Marsh 5 (4)

Crucial match for the home team today to bounce back to winning ways. And with home advantage back again, probably things would look easier today. They have also brought in Aussie international Shaun Marsh.

The players are out on the field with opener- Marsh and Amla at the crease and a surprise bowling attack form MI to start off with. It's Hardik Pandya fir the first over.

Third ball, places it outside the off stump and Marsh effortlessly cuts it down cover to get the first boundary of the match. What a way to get off the mark! Eight off the first over.

TOSS TIME- MI win toss and elects to chase

19:25 IST: Players are out warming up and we'll have the toss in about 5 minutes. Stay tuned!

19:11 IST: A little less than 20 minutes before we have the toss. In the meantime, here's how the IPL 10 table looks like at this stage of the tournament.

Glenn Maxwell-led KXIP will be desperate for a change in their fortunes after suffering three back-to-back defeats in the IPL 10, having won the first two with ease. Their task, however, will not as easy considering they are up against a rampant MI side, which has won their last 4 matches in the competition. (IPL 10 - Points Table | Full Coverage)

The only boost for Punjab seems to be a return to home hunting ground, Indore, where they will be returning after 3 consecutive away games and will be looking to mark their return with a win.

As far as Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai are concerned, they have a chance of going top of the table with a win against the hosts today. A bright mix of young and experienced players have got them off to their best ever start to an IPL campaign. The young guns, Krunal Pandya, Hardik Pandya, Nitish Rana and Jasprit Bumrah have been brilliant, so have been the experienced players - Kieron Pollard, Harbhajan Singh and Lasith Malinga. Rohit, himself, however is still to find his peak form and there might not be a better chance then today's encounter at Holkar stadium.
