New Delhi: Delhi-boy Shikhar Dhawan hit his first half-century of the 2017 IPL season to dismantle Daredevils on Wednesday at Hyderabad.
Turning up for the defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad, Dhawan hit 70 off 50 balls to help the home side score a big total of 191.
The 31-year-old also stitched a 136-run second-wicket stand with innings' top scorer, Kane Williamson, who scored 89 off 51 balls. The Kiwi was playing his first match of the season.

Dhawan's knock was laced with seven fours and a six.
After losing skipper and in-form David Warner as early as the second over, Dhawan needed to rebuild the innings with Williamson.
He played the role of a second fiddle even as Williamson went about smashing Delhi bowlers.
In the previous five matches, the left-handed batsman had scored 40 vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, 9 vs Gujarat Lions, 48 vs Mumbai Indians, 23 vs Kolkata Knight Riders and 15 vs Kings XI Punjab.
