New Delhi: The 2017 Indian Premier League (IPL) is in its third week, and cricket fans have been treated to some great shots. Sixes hit by MS Dhoni and Chris Gayle stood out for their sheer sizes, but the best shot of the season so far was played, or rather manufactured, by David Warner.

Regarded as one of the most innovative batsmen around, the Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper often played his famous reverse sweep. And most of the time, the ball ends up landing in the stands. Indian fans would still remember that one shot Warner played against Ravichandran Ashwin, during 2011-12 tour of Australia.

Here's the video:

Ashwin is out of the IPL 10, but Warner continues to play his freak show. On Monday, in their match against Kings XI Punjab, Warner played that shot again, this time against KC Cariappa. Here's the LINK to the video.

That's not the end. During his unbeaten 54-ball knock, the left-handed batsman played another freakish shot against Mohit Sharma, which went for a four. Here's the video:

His 70* helped the defending champion set a target of 160 runs, and it proved just enough, winning the match by five runs as Bhuvneshwar Kumar produced a dream spell.

But on Wednesday, Warner departed early after scoring four runs off seven deliveries against the visiting Delhi Daredevils at Hyderabad. It was his first singles figure in six innings, and first of this IPL season.
