New Delhi: The match between Rising Pune Supergiant and Royal Challengers Bangalore was a treat to watch for the cricket fans, who were delighted with Mahendra Singh Dhoni's all-round show against Virat Kohli's men.
Not in the best of form, Dhoni found some rhythm by scoring a 25-ball 28, which included a sensational six which landed on the roof of the Chinnaswamy stadium. The Ranchi cricketer followed it with a brilliant stumping to dismiss AB de Villiers.
Cricket fans were full of praise for Dhoni's performance and hit out at Harsh Goenka, brother of RPS owner Sanjiv Goenka, who recently posted a series of tweets backing management's decision to remove Dhoni as the skipper of the team.
Here are some of the best tweets:

Soon after Goenka's criticism, Dhoni's wife Sakshi posted a cryptic post on Instagram which was seen as a reply from here side to him.
It is for the first time in the history of IPL that Dhoni is playing merely as a player and not a skipper. For eight years in a row, he was the skipper of Chennai Super Kings, before it was suspended for two years.
