New Delhi: MS Dhoni became the most trending topic on Twitter soon after the world witnessed the former India captain's blitzkrieg for Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) in an epic run-chase against Surnisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 10 clash on Saturday.

Mahi brought end to the match with trademark finishing that even forced one of his biggest critiques, Harsh Goenka to change his views on the former Chennai Super Kings skipper.

Dhoni's innings was brilliantly captured by one of his biggest fans, Virat Kohli, as the present India captain took to twitter to extol the Jharkhand batsman.

"Ms Dhoni does what he's done with so much confidence over the years. What a champion knock. Great to watch," wrote Kohli.

Meanwhile, Manoj Tiwary, who was at the non-strikers end when Dhoni sealed the match with a four, also lauded his IPL teammate post victory.

"Was my 1st time batting with Mahi bhai n that too in a run chase. A great experience n learning just watching the master finish it off. @IPL," tweeted Tiwary.

Faf du Plesis, AB de Villiers, David Warner also lauded Captain Cool's innings on Twitter.

Dhoni had smashed an unbeaten 61 to finally come good and reassert his top-class finisher tag as he guided Rising Pune Supergiant to a six- wicket victory over defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad in a thrilling IPL match.

After a series of flop shows, Dhoni's reputation as a top-notch finisher was at stake, but today the former India captain was in his elements, smashing a flurry of fours and sixes as Pune overhauled the target of 177 in the final ball of the run chase.
