Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis and Mahipal Komror were the stars with the bat for RCB but they judged the pitch wrong and could not score enough runs on the board. For DC Mitchell Marsh took two crucial wickets while Khaleel Ahmed and Mukesh Kumar chipped in with one wicket each.
While chasing a decent total, Warner and Salt put up a good opening stand with 60 runs in the 6th over. Salt scored 87 runs to be the hero of the win while Rilee Rossoiw also scored quick runs in the middle. In the end, the RCB bowler looked toothless and thus RCB were thrashed by DC.
