England will start Day 5 of the fifth Test as favourites to win the game as they need 119 runs with seven wickets in hand and two set batsmen in the name of Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root at the crease. India will look to take quick wickets in the first one hour on Day 5 to bounce back.

Fifty for Joe Root
Former England captain Joe Root took his side out of trouble by hitting an excellent fifty in the fourth innings of the match. England were 107/0 and then they were reduced to 109/3. From there Jonny Bairstow and Root took the host to 200. India desperately looking for wickets.

Yes, No, Yes, No and Alex Lees gets run-out. It was Joe Root's call as the ball went behind Lees. Root sprints towards the other end but Lees fails to make it. M Shami's perfect throw followed by Ravindra Jadeja's collection provide India with the third wicket.

The first ball after the Tea, India captain Jasprit Bumrah removes Ollie Pope for a duck. The ball was pitched just outside off stump and Pope could not resist playing it, and ended up edging one to the keeper.

India captain Jasprit Bumrah cleaned up Zak Crawley on 46 to provide his side with the first breakthrough. The ball pitched outside off, around the fourth stump, Crawley decides to leave it on its own but the ball just nips back in and takes the off stump.

Another wicket on short ball tactics as Shardul Thakur goes for a big pull and finds the man on the rope. Thakur got hit on the helmet in the last over and decides to go for a big shot on the short balls. It did not work for him though.
