IPL 2021, CSK vs DC HIGHLIGHTS: Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan emerged as star of the night as Delhi Capitals secured an emphatic seven-wicket win against MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings in Mumbai on Saturday. Chasing a stiff 189, the pair added 138 runs in 13.3 overs for the opening wicket, thus laying the perfect platform for others to capitalise on. 

Shaw was the first batsman to be removed, as Dwayne Bravo provided CSK with the first breakthrough in the 14th over. He scored a scintillating 72 off 38 balls, which included nine fours and three sixes. Meanwhile, his partner Dhawan was out on 85 from 54 deliveries after being trapped LBW by an inch perfect yorker by Shardul Thakur.

Earlier in the day after being asked to bat first, CSK got off to a poor star losing openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis cheaply. However, a powerful show by Suresh Raina and later a cameo from Sam Curran steered CSK to a stiff 188/7 in 20 overs.

Hello and welcome to the LIVE coverage of the Indian Premier League match between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals. The match will be played at Mumbai's iconic Wankhede Stadium behind closed doors. 

Speaking ahead of the clash, Pant said that he will focus on the learnings he gained from Dhoni to be at par with him during the team's opening match against.  

"My first match as captain will be against Mahi (MS Dhoni) bhai. It will be a good experience for me as I have learned a lot from him," said Pant in a video posted on Delhi Capitas' Twitter handle. 

"I have my own experience as a player as well. I'll apply my own experience and the learnings from MS Dhoni, and try to do something different against CSK," he added.
