Mumbai Indians have beaten Royal Challengers Bangalore by 5 wickets. Hardik Pandya got into a heated arguement with Chris Morris in the penultimate over after hitting him for a mesmerising six. Morris responded by dismissing him off the very next ball and their chat continued. Pollard hit a first ball four against Morris towards deep square leg and Mumbai needed just 3 from the final over. Suryakumar hits Mohammed Siraj's very first ball for four and then gestures towards the pavilion as if to say 'I am here.' Suryakumar finishes at a brilliant 79* off just 43 balls (4x10, 6x3) MI: 166/5 (19.1 Overs)
28 October 2020, 22:47 PM
Steyn bowls three wides in the 18th over, while trying to nail the wide yorker. Suryakumar Yadav hits a huge six over fine leg - accepting Steyn's full toss graciously. 16 needed from 12 balls. MI: 149/4 (18 Overs)
28 October 2020, 22:35 PM
Suryakumar Yadav has brought Mumbai Indians into the driving seat. He completes a brilliant half-century of just 29 balls by hitting the in-form Mohammed Siraj for three fours in the 16th over. 35 needed from 24 balls. Playoff berth in sight for Mumbai. MI: 130/4 (16 Overs)

OUT!! WICKET!! Krunal Pandya is gone, dismissed by Chahal. This is an exact replay of Ishan Kishan's dismissal earlier on with Morris taking the catch, just like in Kishan's case. Pandya shimmies down the wicket and tries to go straight over the top but was deceived in the flight and ends up giving a straight catch. MI: 107/4 (14 Overs)
28 October 2020, 22:21 PM
Suryakumar Yadav is on fire right now. This is a blatant statement from intent from his as he hits three fours against Stey - all of them being highlights worthy. Does he want to say something to the national selectors, who didn't pick him for the Australian tour ? Wonderful from him. MI: 99/3 (13 Overs)
28 October 2020, 22:11 PM
OUT!! WICKET!! Padikkal is winning the match for RCB. He takes a blinder to remove Saurabh Tiwary off Mohammed Siraj. MI: 73/3 (11 Overs)
28 October 2020, 22:08 PM
RCB are continuing with Chahal's overs as they look to turn the screws on Mumbai and put them under pressure. But Suryakumar Yadav stands up to Chahal and hits him for a slog sweep that goes for a six and then hits another sweep that raced towards the deep squareleg boundary. MI: 70/2 (10 Overs)
28 October 2020, 21:56 PM
OUT!! WICKET!! Ishan Kishan is gone against Chahal. It was a well flighted ball and Kishan dummies forward and tries to hit one straight for a maximum but mistimes it and the ball loops straight up where Morris takes the catch. MI: 53/2 (8 Overs)
28 October 2020, 21:50 PM
OUT!! HUGE WICKET!! Siraj dismisses Quinton de Kock for 18. It was a short ball and de Kock miscues his pull - gives a straight catch to Gurkeerat Mann in the deep. MI: 45/1 (6 Overs)

Meanwhile, Bumrah reached this milestone today. The third youngest in IPL history to reach here.
28 October 2020, 21:39 PM
Steyn is proving expensive here. He is bowling four good balls but his remaining two balls are being dispatched for sixes down the leg side. Too short from him as de Kock pulls him for a huge six. Sundar is bowling from the other end and gives away just 6 in his opening overs. MI: 31/0 (4 Overs)
28 October 2020, 21:30 PM
Good competitive start from both sides. Morris bowls some accurate lines in his first over and gives away just five runs. In the second over from Steyn, it's the same story but then Kishan Kishan whips him for a hue six. MI: 15/0 (2 Overs)
28 October 2020, 21:22 PM
Ishan Kishan and Quinton de Kock will open Mumbai Indians' innings against Royal Challengers Bangalore's Chris Morris. MI: 0/0 (0 Overs)
28 October 2020, 21:08 PM
Royal Challengers Bangalore have posted a competitive total of 164/6 against Mumbai Indians. While only 5 runs came from Bumrah's penultimate over of the innings, Gurkeerat Mann does well and hits two consecutive fours off Boult's final over. RCB would have fancied more but Bumrah's spell in the middle turned the tides. Bumrah finishes with figures of 4-1-14-3. RCB: 164/6 (20 Overs)
28 October 2020, 20:56 PM
OUT!! WICKET!! Another one bites the dust! RCB are falling apart here. Chris Morris is dismissed by Boult. Morris tried to go for a big upper cut but only manages to hit one straight to third man where Pattinson takes an easy catch. RCB: 146/6 (18 Overs)

28 October 2020, 20:53 PM
OUT!! WICKET!! Jasprit Bumrah picks his second of the over! Devdutt Padikkal is out for 74. It was a short length ball into the body which Padikkal tried to hit over long leg but only manages to hand an easy catch to Trent Boult. Bumrah bowls a double wicket maiden. RCB: 134/5 (17 Overs)
28 October 2020, 20:48 PM
OUT!! WICKET!! Shivam Dube falls to Bumrah. He was sent for the big hits but fails to do so and departs for just 2 off 6 balls. RCB: 134/4 (16.3 Overs)
28 October 2020, 20:42 PM
OUT!! HUGE WICKET!! AB de Villiers is gone! Kieron Pollard takes the prized wicket. It was a full toss that de Villiers couldn't dispatch. He is very disappointed with himself - Mumbai are very lucky here. RCB: 134/3 (16 Overs)
28 October 2020, 20:28 PM
Ab de Villiers is up and running. He highlights his nickname of Mr 360 by scoring an astonishing six over the keeper's head against Pattinson. He follows it up with a pull for four. Mumbai need to take his wicket early. Chahar, meanwhile, gave away just 3 runs in the previous over. RCB: 113/2 (14 Overs)
28 October 2020, 20:22 PM
OUT!! HUGE WICKET!! Virat Kohli is gone. It's Bumrah who dismisses his India captain. It was a pacy short ball, very well directed and Kolhi slashed hard at it but completely mistimes it. Saurabh Tiwary takes a dolly at midwicket. RCB: 97/2 (12 Overs)
28 October 2020, 20:15 PM
While Philippe has departed, Padikkal has taken over the reigns and is right at the cusp of his fifty. Krunal Pandya gives away just 4 runs in his third over but Padikkal makes amends and picks up 11 from Chahar's next. RCB: 88/1 (10 Overs)
28 October 2020, 20:08 PM
OUT!! Josh Philippe is gone! He is out stumped against Rahul Chahar. It was a good length ball that spun away from Philippe but the Australian just fails to ground his foot back into the crease in time and de Kock does the rest. Philippe made 33 from 24 balls. RCB: 73/1 (8 Overs)
28 October 2020, 20:01 PM
A solid 50-run partnership comes up between @devdpd07 & Josh Philippe.

It's all going RCB's way at the moment. This young duo of Philippe and Padikkal have given them a flying start. Philippe scores a brilliant six straight down the ground off Boult and then is lucky to get a four in the same over. Padikkal then makes room for himself in the next over from Pattinson and scores two boundaries, making full use of the powerplay restrictions. RCB: 54/0 (6 Overs)
28 October 2020, 19:45 PM
Much better this from RCB. Padikkal specially is looking much better after some dismal performances by his lofty standards. He hits two consecutive fours against Krunal Pandya. Philippe is not too far behind as he hits one for himself against Pattinson in the next one. RCB: 32/0 (4 Overs)
28 October 2020, 19:38 PM
Good competitive start from both sides. In the first over from Boult, Padikkal makes room for himself and thrashes one over the short cover region. In the second over, Philippe plays the shot of the day so far against Bumrah. This was a brilliant shot right from the Steve Smith scheme of things. He covered his off stump and drives the ball through mid-on. RCB: 10/0 (2 Overs)
28 October 2020, 19:29 PM
Devdutt Padikkal and Josh Philippe will open the RCB innings. Trent Boult to start the proceedings for Mumbai. RCB: 0/0 (0 Overs)
