Hello and welcome to our live coverage of match number 56 of IPL 2020 between SunRisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians that is all set to begin shortly (on Tuesday, November 3) from the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

This is the final game of IPL 2020 league stage, with the all important Playoffs stage all set to kick-off from Thursday (November 5).

SunRisers Hyderabad have beaten Mumbai Indians by 10 wickets and have qualified for the IPL 2020 playoffs.

Earlier, SunRisers Hyderabad won the toss and opted to bowl first. Mumbai Indians posted 149/8 from their 20 overs.

SunRisers Hyderabad currently have 12 points and sit at the fifth position on the points table. KKR occupy the fourth spot in the points table with 14 points but here’s the catch though – SRH have a better net run-rate than KKR and if they beat Mumbai tonight, they will qualify to the IPL 2020 Playoffs. Is SRH lose tonight, they are out and KKR are through. Mumbai Indians have already qualified for the Playoffs stage, being the first team to do so.

Coming back to the match, SunRisers who looked down and out at one stage, sparked their waning campaign with two huge wins. SRH first defeated the Capitals by 88-runs and then in their last outing, they chased RCB’s total of 120 in just 14.1 overs- winning the game by 5 wickets.

The inclusion of the seasoned Wriddhiman Saha into their XI has perhaps been their trump card. Saha, in just his two games, has played a match-winning knock of 87 and followed it up with a gritty 39 against Delhi and Bangalore respectively.

Jason Holder has provided the breakthroughs with the ball and justified his inclusion into the side but his contribution with the bat lower down the order has also pleasantly surprised many.

Mumbai Indians, meanwhile, won their last game against Delhi Capitals easily – beating them by 9 wickets and are the strongest contenders of this edition by far.

SunRisers Hyderabad, with everything on the line will clash with the defending champions and tournament favorites Mumbai Indians in this final league game of IPL 2020 – it all promises to be an all-out thriller.

The match, as it happened:

3 November 2020, 23:00 PM

SunRisers Hyderabad have beaten Mumbai Indians by 10 wickets. It must be said that sweeped past Mumbai is a better way to describe it. With just 13 runs needed from 30 balls, Warner and Saha reach the mark in just 17.1 overs. SunRisers Hyderabad thus qualify for the IPL 2020 playoffs in the third position on the points table - thanks to their fantastic net run-rate. Warner finished it off with a punch through the off side against Pandya. He remained unbeaten on 85 (off 58 balls) while Saha carried his bat for a gritty 58 (off 45 balls). SRH: 151/0 (17.1 Overs)

3 November 2020, 22:46 PM

Just 13 needed from 30 balls now. The duo are going to take their side home. Without even scoring a boundary, the duo pick 9 runs from Kulkarni's third over. Coulter-Nile, who has failed to make a mark so far is taken apart in the next over by Warner. SRH: 137/0 (15 Overs)

3 November 2020, 22:33 PM

Will SunRisers get a 10-wicket win here ? This is some statement from them. They are taking the bowlers to the cleaners and have both completed their fifties. They keep picking up the singles and Krunal Pandya bowls a bouncer that goes for four - the pressure evident on his face. SRH: 122/0 (13 Overs)

3 November 2020, 22:25 PM

With the result of the game being a foregone conclusion, the suo of Warner and Saha seem to be competing with themselves as to who will reach their fifty first. They are making a mockery of this strong bowling attack and are now inching closer to the playoffs. SRH: 97/0 (11 Overs)

3 November 2020, 22:13 PM

The opening partnership has now reached 71-runs. Mumbai Indians are running out of ideas here and it is clearly evident as to how important Bumrah and Boult are to their fortunes. They keep rotating the strike and ensure a boundary every now and then. Chahar is being played safely here. SRH: 71/0 (8 Overs)

3 November 2020, 22:02 PM

Warner and Saha have come out all guns blazing. They want to finish this early and don't want to keep it for late. They score a boundary apiece from Chahar's opening over and then another four comes from Coulter Nile's next over. SRH: 56/0 (6 Overs)

3 November 2020, 21:51 PM

This is a solid start from these two. After Saha's brilliance earlier, Warner gets into the act, hitting three consecutive fours against his compatriot James Pattinson. Saha had hit two fours in the previous over from Kulkarni. MI: 40/0 (4 Overs)

3 November 2020, 21:42 PM

Good start from Saha. He looks in tremendous touch as he hits a six over covers and then another four at mid-on against Coulter-Nile. Kulkarni, though, bowled a tight first over, giving away just 3 runs. SRH: 14/0 (2 Overs)

3 November 2020, 21:33 PM

David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha will open the SRH innings against Mumbai's Dhawal Kulkarni. SRH: 0/0 (0 Overs)

3 November 2020, 21:23 PM

SunRisers Hyderabad have restricted Mumbai Indians to 149/8 after a tremendous bowling display. It is still a competitive total thanks to Pollar's blitz at the death. Pollard hit three consecutive sixes in the penultimate over bowled by T Natarajan to bring Mumbai to this total. Pollard hit another six in the final over from Holder but was then bowled on the subsequent ball. MI: 149/8 (20 overs)

3 November 2020, 21:11 PM

OUT!! WICKET!! Holder dismissed Coulter-Nile. It was a slower ball in the slot, outside off and it is enough to outfox Coulter-Nile who can't control his shot and is caught by Priyam Garg at extra cover. MI: 119/7 (18 Overs)

3 November 2020, 20:56 PM

OUT!! WICKET!! Sandeep Sharma has his third wicket! He clean bowled Ishan Kishan with a wide ball that came in with the angle and Kishan drags it onto his stumps. Sandeep makes a fine comeback after being hit for a six on the previous ball. MI: 116/6 (17 Overs)

3 November 2020, 20:46 PM

Dropped!! Rashid Khan has dropped Ishan Kishan off his own bowling. Kishan went for a big sweep but miscues it and the ball goes straight up and Rashid makes a mess of it. On the last ball, Pollard is trapped in front but the review is unsuccesful. MI: 98/5 (15 Overs)

3 November 2020, 20:36 PM

OUT!! WICKET!! Rashid Khan removes Saurabh Tiwary and Mumbai have lost three wickets in exchange of just 1 run. It was a wrong one from Rashid and Tiwary misjudges the pace - the ball takes an edge and goes straight to keeper Saha's gloves. MI: 87/5 (13 Overs)

3 November 2020, 20:30 PM

OUT!! Two wickets in the same over!! Shahbaz Nadeem is the man, he now removes Krunal Pandya. It was a short of good length delivery that came very slow of the track and Pandya tried to play it down the side but was too early into the shot and Kane Williamson takes a brilliant catch at short midwicket. MI: 82/4 (12 Overs)

3 November 2020, 20:27 PM

OUT!! HUGE WICKET!! Suryakumar Yadav is out stumped to Shahbaz Nadeem. It was a well flighted ball and Suryakumar wanted to go over the covers and misses the ball. Wriddhiman Saha does brilliantly behind the stumps. MI: 81/3 (11.1 Overs)

3 November 2020, 20:17 PM

Good level-headed batting from Kishan and Suryakumar. Kishan, though, has stuttered thus far while Suryakumar is the one taking the attack to the opposition. These two are not trying anything fancy here and are trying to get through Rashid Khan's overs. only 13 from the last two overs. MI: 65/2 (9 Overs)

3 November 2020, 20:04 PM

Suryakumar Yadav, like always this season, is looking in imperious touch. He scores two consecutive fours against Shahbaz Nadeem - welcoming into the attack. He is then dropped in the next over bowled by Natarajan - on a difficult chance. He tow ended the ball but Natarajn couldn't do anything about it. MI: 52/2 (7 Overs)

3 November 2020, 19:55 PM

OUT!! HUGE WICKET!! Quinton de Kock is bowled on a full toss and he is furious with himself. de Kock had already castled Sandeep Sharma for a four and two sixes on three consecutive balls but Sharma has the last laugh. It was a wide full toss against which de Kock went for a big heave - he only manages a thick inside edge onto his own stumps. MI: 39/2 (5 Overs)

3 November 2020, 19:42 PM

OUT!! HUGE WICKET!! Rohit Sharma falls cheaply. Rohit is outfoxed by Sandeep's knuckle ball. Rohit misreads it, tried to go over the covers but ends up giving a straight catch to Warner at mid-off. MI: 16/1 (3 Overs)

3 November 2020, 19:38 PM

Safe start from Mumbai. Against some accurate lines from SRH's Sandeep Sharma, Quinton de Kock manages to hit a convincing punch for four, although still only 5 runs come from it. In the next over the duo again pick-up 5 runs from Jason Holder's first over. MI: 10/0 (2 Overs)

3 November 2020, 19:29 PM

Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock will open the Mumbai innings against SRH's Sandeep Sharma. MI: 0/0 (0 Overs)
