MS Dhoni slams 94-ball century against Chhattisgarh in Vijay Hazare Trophy

New Delhi: MS Dhoni showed the cricketing world once again that he is arguably the coolest man in the sport by slamming a stunning 94-ball hundred against Chattisgarh in the recent Vijay Hazare Trophy clash on Sunday.

Dhoni was the chief architect of Jharkahand's innings and made sure he survived until the final ball of the match, guiding his side to a total of 243/9. In the last few overs, Dhoni added two fours and two sixes before being dismissed on the final ball of the 50th over at 129 runs from 107 balls with a strike rate of 120.56.

The Captain Cool's performance becomes more special considering the fact that Jharkhand, in the 20th over, were struggling at 57/6 before Dhoni and Shahbaz Nadeem formed an influential partnership of 151 runs, however, Nadeem was dismissed after contributing 53 runs.

In the previous match, Dhoni could not help his side sail through with his 43-run knock against Karnataka as Jharkhand lost the group D tie by five runs.

Seeing Mahi pull off another scintillating performance, twitterati, as usual couldn't prevent themselves from hailing the veteran.

Considering the fact that he was removed as Rising Pune Supergiants captain days before the Vijay Hazare Trophy begane, one has got to laud the approach of the former Indian captain.
