Shania-Lee Swart slams 160 runs, team bowled out for 169 – Weirdest Scorecard in cricket's history

New Delhi: A cricket scorecard has gone viral on social media. And for obvious reasons.

The incident happened in Cricket South Africa's Under-19 Girls National Cricket Week's T20 match between Mpumalanga and Easterns in Pretoria. Shania-Lee Swart, opening batswoman for Mpumalanga, played a scintillating knock at the top of the order.

She hammered 160 runs off 86 balls and followed it with 2/21 to help her team beat Easterns by 42 runs.

Interestingly, batting first, Mpumalanga put 169 runs on board, 160 off which came from Swart's bat. Eight other batswomen failed to open up their accounts! Easterns gave nine runs in extra which took Mpumalanga's total to 169.

As wickets tumbled from one end, Shani added unbeaten 61 runs for the tenth wicket with No. 10 Nicholate Phiri, who faced three balls for no run.

Swart hit 144 of her runs in boundaries, with 12 sixes and 18 fours.
