Even though Afghanistan failed to shine in the T20 World Cup last year, the 29-year-old wicketkeeper proved to be worthy of a batsman with his gritty strokes. Ranked 7th on the the list of best T20 batsmen and with strike rate of 136.63, Shahzad is a player which can give team a perfect start to the innings.

The third Afghan to feature on the list, this leg-spinner was the star of the recently held first ODI match against Zimbabwe. The 18-year-old lad has taken a total of 31 wickets in 21 matches and would be perfect to feature on a team's bowling list.
