New Delhi: Ever since his international comeback, Pakistani speedster Mohammad Amir has been in sensational form with the ball.
While he has mostly been in news for his stupendous bowling spells, Amir hogged limelight in the third ODI against England at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
The crowd got entertainment worth their money as England pummeled Pakistani bowlers to all parts of the ground and in the process posted the highest ever team total in ODIs – 444.
In reply, while Pakistan proved to be a no show, Amir, batting at No. 11 did show some resilience.
The left-hander saved some face for Pakistan as he tonked 58 runs off 28 balls. His knock was studded with five boundaries and four sixes.
Amir was the last batsman to be dismissed, not before he had entertained the fans present in the stadium with a superb knock.
