The format of cricket hardly changed the way blood flows through Viru's arms as he virtually ignored to follow the conditions or circumstances and changed the way Test cricket is percieved by fans.
Since Viru's retirement, Indian cricket has been deprived of a batsman who possesses such a filthy batting prowess. But the nation's wait might just have ended after witnessing the heroics of another Delhi batsman Mayank Rawat.

In a school tournament, Rawat amassed as many as 34 sixes and 14 fours in 77 balls to register an unbeaten total of 279 runs.
In doing so, Mayank helped Atishi Bal Bhavan School Dwarka put a mammoth total of 350 runs in 20 overs.
Chasing the target, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's team were bowled out for 142 in 19.2 overs. Thanks to Mayank, his school won the match by a huge margin of 208 runs.
It was the 26th Radhakishan Sanjay inter-school tournament which saw one boy literally tear the opponents apart with his batting ability.
