NEW DELHI: A woman journalist on Friday was manhandled by women personnel of Delhi Police during a Jawaharlal Nehru University protest march.
She lodged a complaint and alleged that a police official molested her.
According to police, the photojournalist was on the wrong side of the barricade. She, however, refuted the claim and said that her camera was also snatched away.

Delhi police took to Twitter and said that the vigilance branch will enquire the matter following which further action will be taken.
"In this situation, one female journalist has given a complaint of molestation and the same will be enquired into by the vigilance branch for further action," Delhi Police tweeted.

On Friday, unruly scenes of violence broke out in the afternoon when a protest march of JNU students and members of JNU Teachers'Association (JNUTU) to Parliament was brought to a halt by Delhi Police. The protestors were demanding suspension of Professor Atul Johri - accused of sexually harassing students.
