New Delhi: Delhi BJP spokesperson Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga has initiated an award – the biggest liar of the country - after AAP chief and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over latter's habit of making big promises but not delivering the same.

Bagga took to Twitter on March 22 and announced the launching of an award after Delhi Chief Minister describing him as the world's biggest liar since he has made several baseless and false allegations his political rivals without any proof.

Taking a pot shot at the AAP convenor, Bagga invited entries from the general public, asking them to send the proof if their biggest lie on WhatsApp number 9115929292 mentioning their name and location.

He tweeted that the person who would be adjudged as the biggest liar will be rewarded a cash prize of Rs 5100 and the Kejriwal Award.

Speaking to a TV news channel, Bagga said that the inspiration for initiating an award after Arvind Kejriwal came from Delhi chief minister who had cheated the people of Delhi by making several false promises.

He attacked the AAP chief for promising free Wi-Fi, special security for women in DTC buses, opening at last 500 new schools and at least 20 colleges in Delhi and not fulfilling any one of them.

Bagga's latest attack on Kejriwal came after the latter tendered an apology to Congress leader Bikram Singh Majithia and BJP's Nitin Gadkari for falsely accusing them of indulging in corruption and links with drug pedallers in Punjab.
