New York: 'Star Wars' creator George Lucas has bought two paintings and three sculptures from Chicago artist Hebru Brantley for his art museum.

Lucas, 70, has been developing the USD 300 million Museum of Narrative Arts in Chicago. He bought the pieces over the weekend, reported the New York Post.

Pieces by the pop artist, influenced by Basquiat, have previously sold to Beyonce, Jay Z and Alicia Keys' producer husband Swizz Beatz.

Brantley reportedly spent a few hours with the movie mogul at his Chicago studio chatting about his work, and love for Lucas' movies, before he picked up two paintings and three sculptures.
